Karakol is the most popular travel space in Kyrgyzstan, because of stunning views on Karakol Gorge Panorama on 3040m, impressive hiking areas and lakes in the mountain towards 5000m and the nice town Karakol itself on 1690m. Places like Jyrgalan, Shatyly and Barskoon are more desolate, but even the Karakol area in the mountains is very calm.
