Namobuddha is situated in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, at an altitude of 1,800 metres and 40 km south-east of the city of Kathmandu. It is a beautiful Buddhist pilgrimage site where you can really relax and stay overnight in a monastery to enjoy the peace and quiet, the natural surroundings and organic food. The region offers wonderful walking routes through the hills, and further north you can, of course, hike higher up into the Himalayas.
